First and foremost: be nice, be respectful, and have fun.We are aiming for a friendly and active Baccano! community, not a dark alleyway of the internet that people do they’re best to avoid. Please, if you have a problem with someone on the masterlist, handle it in the most civil manner possible. If it gets ally out of hand, contact a mod and we’ll see how we can help settle the situation. Whatever you do, don’t make it a public affair.
To reserve a character, leave an ask with the character you want to claim using your personal account, or leave your email in the ask. If you dont do this, your application will be rejected and the character will remain available. We just need to be able to contact you if need be. Please understand. C:
You may have up to three characters under your wing at once. But no more. Feel free to exchange characters at any time, though!
Stay in character. Asking for you to be in character all the time would be unreasonable, but please try to keep the ooc posts to a minimum. If we see you getting carried away with it, you’ll receive a warning and eventually be removed from the mastlist— if it continues, that is. I understand that crack situations are fun, but please if you do a crack plot, keep the personality of your character canon.
If you have any ideas to make things more fun, please share! The ask box is always open for suggestions. C:
Inactivity will result in removal from the masterlist. A lack of posting for three weeks is considered inactive and will end in that blog being removed, thus the character going back up for claiming. “Active” is defined by posting at least 15 times a week. That’s only about twice a day, and is completely do-able, but if you have a complaint about this, please speak up. Keep the masterlist notified on your ability to be active: Please, if you’re experiencing a bump in the road of life, going on vacation, or find yourself in a situation that makes to too busy to post, leave the masterlist a message. As long as we’re notified, we can put your character on hiatus or semi-hiatus upon request. But if we’re not told, we don’t know and might remove you. :( Hiatus lasts up to five weeks by default. We ask that you post at least a few times to assure us thatyou still want to keep your position, but if you can’t, you won’t be removed until the five weeks passes. Semi-hiatus lasts three weeks by default and requires you to post at least twice a week.
If you go on hiatus or semi- and come back before it expires, please notify the masterlist.
The rules will be updated as I find it necessary for rules to be added. For now, because of the small community, the rules will be simple and blunt. Also quite lenient.
